X2 Extreme: Rugged HMI Products

X2 extreme panels are certified by leading classification bodies and designed for rugged outdoor use and hazardous environments containing gas, dust or vapour. Their environmental capabilities include operation from -30°C to +70°C, high vibration and high-pressure water exposure.

X2 extreme panels are available in 7, 12 and 15-inch sizes with 3 versions: standard mounting, high-performance and fully sealed high-performance. High-performance versions feature high-resolution displays and optional integrated CODESYS PLC functionality.

X2 extreme also offers lower-cost rugged-only (RO) versions where marine and hazardous-location certification is not required, and certified-only (CO) versions where certification is needed without rugged capabilities.

X2 extreme also includes HMI products for industrial HTML5 web applications. X2 web products allow the same content to be visualized on mobile devices and tablets without conversion or redesign.

 

Pano Montaj

Panel-mounted models provide IP66, NEMA 4X/12 and UL Type 4X/12 front protection and are suitable for ATEX Zone 2 and ATEX Zone 22 certification.

Fully Sealed

Fully sealed models with M12 connectors provide IP66 and NEMA 4X/12 protection with hazardous-location and marine approvals.

Extreme Temperatures

A -30°C to +70°C operating temperature range supports use in demanding environments.

High Vibration Resistance

Panels are tested with 4 g RMS sine sweep vibration and 40 g, 11 ms half-sine shock.

Marine Approvals

X2 panels meet a broad range of marine approval requirements that are not commonly found in HMI products, supporting deployment in different locations at sea.

Certified For Hazardous Environments

Certified for hazardous areas containing gas, vapour and dust.

Custom-designed Or Unbranded

Choose an identity for your brand or a neutral appearance. X2 panels offer custom-designed or unbranded front frames as an alternative to standard Beijer Electronics branding.

CODESYS ile Kontrol

All high-performance models offer integrated CODESYS IEC 61131-3 PLC functionality on dedicated CPU cores. Add remote I/O for a scalable and cost-effective solution.

High-brightness Display

All high-performance models include a 1.000 cd/m² backlight for readability in bright conditions such as sunlight.

Dimmable Backlight

Comfortable operation in high and low ambient light. The backlight can be continuously dimmed to a very low brightness.

Built-in Isolation

Built-in isolation meets marine standards for burst and surge resistance.

Dahili CANopen Bus

Interface with control devices using the integrated CANopen bus.
